Have Camera, Will Travel

Chillin' at the Walmart on the lawn furniture-
My wife can make even
the darkest days into a good time.
There is a great big world out there and I plan to see it all. That is to say, I plan to see it all with my wife and two dogs and maybe even one of my cats. But to do so, I need an income.

I am writer, a videographer, a captain and a bunch of other things. My wife is a business manager, a caretaker and one hell of a cook. Together we can do amazing things like make a 7-course meal for a dozen guests, rebuild an Airstream or deliver a 100-ton ship from Maine to Florida. We also can make a TV show, write a
book and build your brand into a household name. We are a multi-talented pair and we aim to take our show on the road.

Would you still be my friend if I looked like this?
Whether it's in the Rocky Mountains, the Dry Tortugas or the Great Plains, we are willing to come to you. We are in the process of selling off our life, streamlining our existence and adopting the mobile lifestyle. At some point, we even aim to buy a bus, travel the Great Loop and film a reality TV show with five teams of sailors and five sailboats. But right now, we just want to see as much of this great world as we can before we give it all up to watch Jeopardy and listen to our arteries harden.

"Gather your rosebuds while ye may"- that is one of my favorite poems and favorite sentiments. Oh sure, is misogynistic and decidedly out of date in its language, but its speaks of valuing the time that is now. The Present. Because if you wait until tomorrow, your tomorrow may be too late. It will be gone and age will settle in.

There is no rule about age or time. Sickness may strike at any moment and death may visit without any invitation. We are not full-timers on this planet, but rather seasonal workers, who when the time comes, must vacate these premises and wander on to the next, without fanfare or severance pay.

And while we wait for the right time to come, the time that is now is leaving with no promise of what's coming next.

And so we will come, whenever and wherever you wish. And we will bring our cameras and our audience. We will share our travels on social media and tell our tales on blogs and Youtube. We will do our best to make our presence known while in your camp, with the hopes that the eyes we bring to our presence, will look kindly upon your business. And while we are there, we will cook, clean and promote as only a captain with a pension for writing and camera and a mother of two with a talent for business,  can do. Many thanks and  we can be reached at Info@thechartedlife.net
